How our prices work

Fragrance Boulevard sells authentic designer and niche fragrances below department-store pricing. We buy in volume from the distributors we have long-standing relationships with and pass the difference on. We are not a brand’s own store, so the price we charge is our own — it is not a discount off a price we used to charge.

What “MSRP” means on this site

Where you see a struck-through price next to ours, that figure is the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) — what the product sells for at full retail.

It is not a former Fragrance Boulevard price. We have never charged the struck-through amount. We show it so you can see the product’s standard retail value, not to suggest our own price has recently dropped.

Where MSRP figures come from

We source MSRPs from a short list of places, in this order:

  1. The brand’s own US website, where the brand sells direct.
  2. Sephora, for brands carried there.
  3. Ulta Beauty or Macy’s regular (non-sale) price, only where neither of the above lists that exact item.

If none of these lists the product in that exact size and concentration, we show no MSRP at all — just our price. We never use marketplace or discount-retailer prices as an MSRP.

An MSRP is specific to a size and a concentration. A 1.7 oz and a 3.4 oz of the same fragrance do not share a retail price, and neither do an Eau de Toilette and a Parfum. We do not carry one figure across sizes.

Checking and correcting

We are verifying the MSRP on every product against the sources above. When a figure cannot be confirmed, it is removed rather than left in place, and when a confirmed figure differs from the one shown, we correct it — in either direction. After that, MSRP figures are reviewed quarterly.

Savings claims

Where we describe a saving as a percentage, it is calculated against the MSRP shown for that exact size and concentration and reflects what is live on the site at the time of writing. As of September 2026, no product on the site is discounted by more than 75% off MSRP, and the typical saving is around 55%.

What we do not do

  • We do not display an MSRP we cannot source from the list above.
  • We do not round an MSRP up to make a saving look larger.
  • We do not describe our products by comparison to other brands’ fragrances.
