Kouros is Pierre Bourdon's 1981 aromatic fougere and one of the most argued-about masculines ever released. Aldehydes, bergamot and clary sage open it with a scrubbed, almost soapy brightness; carnation, patchouli and orris fill the heart; and honey, leather, civet-style musk and oakmoss carry a drydown that is unmistakably animalic. Please note the currently produced formulation has been reworked over the years to meet modern fragrance regulations and is softer than vintage bottles.
